Hello. I am a design researcher with an interest in virtual/augmented reality + haptic interactions. I’ve been designing various I/O interfaces — such as wearable haptic devices, VR/AR controllers, physical user interfaces — that are involved in human haptic perception, and exploring the novel possibilities of the haptic interactions. My research focuses on developing novel I/O interfaces that provide rich haptic information to users who want natual interaction with VR/AR.

Before joining Hanyang University, I was a senior UX designer at Samsung Electronics, and designed UI of Samsung Galaxy Watch series (Galaxy Watch Active 2, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Watch 4). I completed my Ph.D. in Department of Industrial Design at KAIST in 2019, advised by Prof. Woohun Lee (Wonder Lab).
